Additional researched option

Ro

Care membership; GLP-1 medication billed separately

For Ro, draw two lines in the cost section of your notes. One is for the care membership. The other is for the medication. The public weight-loss page makes this distinction, and it matters when comparing Ro with a program that advertises medication inside one package.

Keep the introduction separate from the ongoing fee

The checked offer lists a $39 first membership month and then $149 per month on the monthly arrangement. An annual prepaid option has a lower advertised monthly equivalent of $74. That equivalent does not mean the annual option is billed as twelve independent $74 payments. Confirm the actual charge, term and cancellation rules for the option you choose.

Medication expense is additional. The final amount may depend on the prescribed product, pharmacy and coverage decision. Ask for a written explanation of those costs before treating the membership fee as your whole budget.

Give insurance its own question

Ro describes insurance assistance. Assistance with a request does not mean your insurer has approved it. Ask what happens if coverage is denied, delayed or changes later. Your insurer's decision and the clinician's treatment decision are related practical questions, but they are not the same decision.

Bring the exact medicine name to the visit

Ro's site discusses FDA-approved branded products. Different brands have different approved uses, and some prescribing may be off-label. Ask the clinician which product is proposed for you and why. Do not infer an individual prescription from a brand shown in an advertisement.

We include Ro as an additional care model, not a scored fourth-place clinical result. These notes describe public terms; they do not report a patient trial of the service.
